Pear Seckel
Semi-Dwarf
The Seckel pear is treasured for its exceptionally sweet, rich flavor and subtle spiciness, earning its reputation as one of the best dessert pears. Its small, russet-brown fruits are aromatic and delicious.
Resistant to fire blight, this variety is self-pollinating in many parts of the Western U.S. In other areas, it thrives when paired with pollinators like Bosc, D’Anjou, or other pear varieties, though it does not pair well with Bartlett.
