What is a CSA? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Every week we put together a box of freshly harvested vegetables and fruits from our farm. The contents vary based on seasonal availability, but usually include staples such as greens, onion, garlic and carrots. We also like to include some specialty items that you may not have tried before – but don’t worry, we include recipes every week to inspire you culinary creations! Our goal is to provide you with a solid week’s supply of delicious produce that will make eating your vegetables fun and easy. Growing these delicious, nutritious crops for your table requires us to invest upfront in seeds, soil amendments, supplies and of course time, in the months preceding harvest. As a CSA member you become part of our farm and enjoy knowing exactly where your food comes from!
Our Farming Practices are based in a belief in sustainable food systems; we aim to meet local food needs organically without compromising our environment and resources.
Types of Shares: With a Full Share you will receive the equivalent of two grocery bags full of fruits and vegetables every week. Our full shares provide a week’s worth of produce for 3-5 people (or 2 devoted veggie eaters!). Half shares receive the equivalent of one grocery bag of of produce every week, or enough for 1-2 people. Our Main season CSA runs for 20 weeks, and the late season CSA runs for 8.
A $10 refundable tote deposit will be collected upon registration. You will be refunded this $10 at the end of the season when you return your final tote!
Pick Up Days: CSA shares are picked up on Tuesdays or Fridays from 3-6 pm at our farm. You choose your pick up day when you register. If you cannot pick up your share one week you can have a friend or family member pick it up for you.
CSA Add-Ons (Optional):
Bread Share– We partner with Slow Rise Bakehouse to offer an optional bread add-on! Every week of our CSA you will get a loaf of delicious, freshly-made bread with your CSA box. This option is available for Friday pick ups only! Enjoy the convenience of getting the freshest local bread and veg in one stop!
