Apple Yellow Transparent
Semi-Dwarf
A beloved cooking apple, Yellow Transparent is cherished for its very early summer harvest, typically from June to early July in most climates. The apples are crisp, juicy, and flavorful, making them ideal for sauces and pies. They are also enjoyed fresh or dried. Fully ripe fruits have pale yellow, waxy, thin, and nearly transparent skin. In hotter summer climates, itβs best to pick the apples while they are still green and tart. The harvest season lasts 3β4 weeks.
Known for its exceptional winter hardiness and vigorous growth, this dependable tree is self-fruitful and begins bearing fruit at a young age, with most apples produced on short, heavily spurred branches.
